Kim Bồng is a small island village near Hoi An in central Vietnam. It is famous for its local boat building, mainly tradition fishing boats.
I’ve been to Vietnam many times at this point, especially Hoi An, found in the Quang Nam Province, about a 45 minute taxi drive from Da Nang, is an old Japanese trading port back around the 15th to 19th century. My favorite thing about Vietnam? The people and the food.
