“Roadside Shop, Afternoon Siesta, Hội An, Vietnam” (2016)
Color Photograph (altered with photoshop) 720dpi x 970dpi (dpi = dots per inch) rounded in centimeters: 34cm x 25.5cm
As in many tropical countries in Asia, and other parts of the world, the locals close down shops and schools for a brief period after lunch to take a nap.
I’ve been to Vietnam many times at this point, especially Hoi An, found in the Quang Nam Province, about a 45 minute taxi drive from Da Nang, is an old Japanese trading port back around the 15th to 19th century. It is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
